As a faculty member at the Department of Finance, Copenhagen Business School, I conduct research (described in detail elsewhere on this webpage), co–direct PeRCent (Pension Research Center), and I am the Associate Dean of the CBS Executive MBA. In addition to these tasks, I am engaged in a number of outside activities:

I chair the Council for Return Expectations. 2018-

I am a member of the Board of Directors at Formuepleje. 2023-

- At Formuepleje, I chair the board's risk committee.

- At Formuepleje, I am a member of the board's audit committee.

I am a member of the Board of Directors at Advantage Investment Partners. 2021-

I am a member of the Board of Directors at Finansiel Stabilitet (the Danish Financial Resolution Authority). 2020-

I am a member of the Board of Directors at Danish Finance Institute (pro bono). 2020–

I regularly give talks in the financial community. I advise financial institutions on an irregular basis.

I regularly comment on issues related to economic and financial matters in Danish and foreign media.

I regularly meet and exchange views on matters of importance for the financial sector with stakeholders in the Danish financial sector, e.g. regulators, politicians, financial institutions, and organizations.

I chaired the Committee investigating the Causes and Consequences of the Financial Crisis in Denmark. 2012–2013.

I was a member of the Board of Directors at Copenhagen Business School. 2020–2024.

I was a member of the Advisory Board (Investments) of Forenet Kredit. 2018-2023.

I was a member of the Board of Directors at Grandhood. 2017–2023.

- I chaired the board between 2022-2023.

I was a member of the Board of Directors at The Medical Doctors Pension Fund. 2009–2019.

I was a member of the Board of Directors at The Medical Doctors Bank. 2013–2019.
- At the Medical Doctors Bank, I was vice-chairman of the board from 2017-2019.

I was a member of the Board of Directors at SKAGEN mutual funds. 2011–2017.
- At SKAGEN, I was also a member of the Remuneration Committee. 2015–2017.

I was an advisor to the Financial Stability Department at Riksbanken (The Swedish Central Bank). 2017–2019.

I was a member of the Systemic Risk Council of the Faroe Islands. 2018-2022.
